Westwood & Little Holmby

Westwood
Home to UCLA, the Wilshire Corridor and Westwood Village, Westwood is a bustling, energetic area of the Westside of Los Angeles. Beautiful Spanish Revival, Country English and French styled homes populate a large portion of the meandering streets of the residential section of Westwood. Of course, UCLA being at the center of this area, you will also find numerous condo and apartment buildings that not only cater to students but to local workers, faculty and business people. The neighborhoods are some of the most beautiful in all of Los Angeles and its wonderful central location makes it one of the most convenient areas to live in. Located just east of the 405 Freeway and north of the 10 Freeway, south of Bel Air and west of Beverly Hills, Westwood is accessible to all areas of Los Angeles within a few minutes (that is if there's no traffic).

The Wilshire Corridor is most famous for its long row of luxury high rise condos and penthouses. It is on the east side of Westwood right of Westwood Village where there is a small concentration of high rise office buildings. The views from all the high rises is spectacular and on a clear day, one can see all the way to Downtown and west to the ocean.

Westwood Village is the commercial center of Westwood and Little Holmby where you will find UCLA students and business people alike on foot grabbing a cup of coffee at one of many coffee shops or prospecting the seemingly endless dining and shopping possibilities. A very charming village, the streets are lined with trees and very well-kept storefronts. It is definitely an asset to any who own property in this area. Also famous in the village is the Mann Theater which is a favorite for lavish studio film premiers.

Little Holmby
By far one of the most desirable and beautiful neighborhoods in all of Los Angeles, Little Holmby on the outskirts of Holmby Hills--an area of enormous estates--is technically still Westwood, but its homes are far more luxurious and expensive than the rest of Westwood. Built in the 1920's-30's like Holmby Hills, Little Holmby is famous for its Mediterranean, Spanish Revival, Traditional, French and English homes set high up on grassy knolls. The quiet, hilly streets are tree-lined and meandering. With home prices ranging between $1.5-4 million, Little Holmby remains one of the most prestigious areas to call home.
